I'm female..Well, i want to tone up my abs [belly getting flat]..i'm planning on buying one of those exercise balls...i want to know if i'm on the right track or if there's something better?.

You need to lose fat to reveal your abs, isolated excercises such as bodyweight resistance training (Ab crunches e.t.c) will build your abs but they wont be revealed till you strip the fat off your body. This means cardio vascular excercises aswell as a controlled diet.
Just buy a really good ab video and a yoga mat. Run or do some kind of cardio to melt the fat.
u can have a balanced diet . eat healthy. more fruits and vegetable in yr diet will help
Getting those exercise balls will help, but be sure to eat healthy as well. Have a balanced and healthy diet. Avoid fatty foods and those high on sugar and transfat. Do some cardiovascular exercises as well like swimming or jogging. Targetting your abs with those exercise balls will surely help.
