I once lost 24 pounds in a two week period by rigorously following the Atkins diet. I ate nothing but proteins, making sure that mu carb intake was less than 10 grams per day. I also vigorously exercised for an hour each day by using either a Nordic track cross country skiing machine, jogging, or riding a bicycle. I supplemented this with 30 minutes of light weight training 3 times each week. I stopped drinking coffee and soda and anything that might contain caffeine, in fact all I allowed myself to drink was bottled water. I ate as much as I wanted as long as it was protein, and I saw results on a daily basis. I can not guarantee this will work for you, but if you are dedicated you ought to lose a great deal of weight in a short period of time.Make sure that when the two weeks are over that you gently ease yourself back into the world of eating carbs. Slowly bring them back into your diet untill you find thast your weight has stabilized. That is the point where you are at your personal maximum carb intake.Remember, only do this for two weeks. Any longer and your body will starve for carbs and you might do some serious damage, not the least of which could be brain damage. Even with surgical intervention, I'm not sure it's possible.And you're right, 15 pounds in three weeks, while possible, is not healthy.You can realistically drop ten pounds in three weeks, but that will push the limits of what your body can handle. If you are severely obese, then whatever you have to do to lose the weight and keep it off is better and healthier than keeping the weight on, but you do have to remember the limits of physical possibility.

It burns fast as long as you eat healthy.Don't ever starve yourself.eat smaller portions and exercise.
you cant lose more than 7 pounds a week, just do a lot of exercise eat healthy, vegetables, fruits, if you want to go for something to the fridge go for a carrot or some yogurth, just dont eat junk food, i am losing pound with this (i need to lose over 15 pounds in a month), and i am not starving, i feel ok with it,
