do strength training. i started doing strength training at the gym (joined a class about 45 mins) and i noticed that my body is getting toned, i noticed the changes as fast as 2 sessions.
Abs are about the abdominal muscles showing through the layer of fat. You have to have your body fat percentage around 7 to 10% for them to show. You cannot spot reduce your weight, you have to lose all over until your gut is the size you want it to be. We all gain weight in different places first and it usually comes off there last.
Do some sit-ups, as many as you can.
If you drink soft drinks like Coke or Pepsi, you need to give those up. When you're thirsty, drink water.
Don't eat "fast foods"
Eat more fruits and vegetables

You don't need to eliminate it, just cut back by 30% or so. If you drink a lot of pop, maybe switch to diet pop (if you can stand the taste).Eat more fruits and vegatables - find the ones you like.Don't bother doing situps, you need to exercise the big muscles in your legs to burn calories fast. Riding stationary bike or using a treadmill for 30 minutes a day will make a huge difference.
