I often get pain in my shoulders.. is it because of my sleeping habits . what is the right exerci 2 get relief
Answer:
There are many many reasons you could have pain in your shoulders. It could be your sleeping habit. It could be due to a problem in your back and nerves running from your spinal cord to your shoulders.Try lots of different stretching. I often stretch in the shower. As the hot water is hitting your back, move your arms forward (like giving a hug) and pull them back to see if you can feel exactly what the problem is. The heat loosens the muscles up and allows you greater flexibility.Try doing some light weight lifting. Perhaps 10 lb bench press, military press etc. You want to isolate the problem--hopefully its not in the rotary cuff. Painful spurs often develop there.I'd want to consult with a doctor to make sure it isn't more the vertebre than the muscles and increase your stretching routine. Something like yoga. You should stretch for at least 10 minutes when you wake up, whenever you first start to feel pain and again before bed.
