I need to tone up and I have 4 weeks to work with.?

Is it possible to tone up within that time?I'm want to firm my butt and the back of my thighs.
Answer:
I'd say definitely YES. As long as you work those particular muscles out at least 4 to 5 times per week. One really good exercise that you can do at home to tone up your butt and thighs is lunges. This is when you take a really big step forward, let's say with the right leg, and you "lunge" or bend your right leg until your left knee lightly touchs the ground, then you push up to a standing position with your right leg. You then take a big step with your left leg, keep alternating legs, and so on for maybe 10-20 minutes. This will tone the front thigh and the butt. To tone the back thigh and butt you do the same exercise but going backwards. So you would take a big step backward with your right leg, bending your right leg until your right knee touches the ground, push back up, and alternate legs. Well, hopefully that all made sense! Good luck and I'm SURE you can do it as long as you stick to the exercise!
Hi, the word tone as you know unfortunately is misconcieved. The body can only do 4 things, lose fat, gain fat, lose muscle mass, gain muscle mass. The firmness you are refering to as tone is the pump effect which temporarily hardens the isolated muscle your working on due to the blood flow increasement. No excersise will make you lose fat, rather your diet.I suggest you go on a fat loss diet coupled with some cardio vascular excersise to lose the small amount of at you have on your body.
