I recently added weights for dumbell curls and my neck aches?

I added some weights to my dumbells and when i do curls i can reach to 10 reps but once i reach my 6th rep my neck kinda feels weird like pull in my neck. So should i change to 6 reps a set?

Sil,Your form is bad. The same thing happened to me when I added weights for my dead lifts (my back was hurting).Change your form: bend slightly at your waist and unlock your knees...play around with stuff like that until you find what works for you.
Poor form, most likely poor posture. Tuck your chin, keep facing ahead, keep your shoulders from rounding forward, stand up tall with the chest up. You probably want to lower the weight until you learn the right movement first. from what you are telling me, most likely you are doing it the wrong way.
