Ya know, I'm 5'5", and my doc wants me to get down to my "ideal" weight of 145 so I'm confused. It seems like from what my doc says, you're at your ideal weight. For you to lose 40 pounds would make you way way way too skinny. But, its always good to eat healthy.
Cut out all sweets, cokes included, and caffeine. At each meal have a piece of protein as big as your palm and as thick as your palm. Have at least 5 servings of raw or lightly steamed veggies or fruit. Drink loads of pure water. And finally, exercise. Whatever you like . . . walking, aerobics, rebounding (mini trampoline), yoga. Most importantly - remember. . .if you want to eat healthy and lose weight, you do it for yourself, not because you want to please others. Those people calling you fat have self-esteem problems of their own and actually feel better about themselves when they put you down. My guess is that you are at a very good weight for you.You sound like you are taking good care of your body. Don't let those people get you down. Maybe even go see the school counselor?
