I am 6'2" and weigh a measly 150 lbs. I want to gain at least 20 pounds and also tone my chest and abs. I don't want to gain too much fat weight, but I don't have the money to buy weights or go to a gym. Is there anything I can do?
Answer:
First, this will take a little time. You don't want to gain to fast or it will be more fat than muscle.
Most if what you have to do is start eating different and more.
You need to eat around 3000 Cal's a day but with the right food. Find you a good workout plan. Their are 1000's on-line, checkout Bodybuilding.com. Lift a least one time per week per body part. Make sure you get a lot of rest and don't over train. The muscles must have rest to grow.
Get you some protein powder and start mixing you some shakes at least 2 times a day and within 15 min after a workout. You have to feed the muscles. Eat lots of healthy food and high protein such as chicken or tuna. When you eat healthy you will have to eat more to get the Cal's you need. Eat small meals and up to 8 a day. That way your body will use all you give it at that time and not store as fat. Eating healthy is 75% of what you are after. If it was only lifting weights then everyone could do it. It is all about sticking to you diet. You can lift all you want but without the right food and the right amount you will be wasting your time.

If you go to a health food store you can find power bars. Weight lifters use them for the extra calories.
