I need to loose 20 pounds by the summer!!?
Answer:
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)
break down your food in half and walk every day for 2 hrs and go to the gym every other day! ride your bike every day.
Breakfast- two hard boiled egg whites, 8 ounces of water, one piece of fruit.Snack- Low fat yogurt, 8 ounces of water.Lunch- Salad with some chopped up skinless chicken. Easy on the dressing. 8 ounces of water.Dinner- Grilled skinless chicken breast, steamed broccoli, and 8 ounces of water.And you know you can't avoid the gym, get there and go jogging. 30-45 minutes of your heart rate at 60-75 % of maximum will burn a bunch of delicious calories.Anyone who tells you that losing 20 pounds in such short of a time is out of their mind. You may get bored eating the same thing over and over but if you are dedicated, it won't matter.
