I want to know how to get buffer muscle wise?

what kind of workout whould i use, im 180 pounds and want to get to 200 pounds. serious answers only.
Answer:
I know people hate to hear this but . . . it depends. First, there is a significant difference between working out for mass and working out for strength. If your goal is mass, then you should be doing a series of exercises of probably about 60-70% of your maximum weight (maximum weight is the most you can lift, and will vary depending on which exercise you do as some muscle groups are naturally stronger than others--such as comparing your leg strength with your finger strength) and then do those exercises with a high amount of repetitions. If you want to increase strength, you would be doing lower reps, but a much higher percentage of your maximum weight. (80-90%).There are any number of diet and exercise plans for this kind of thing, but it's highly dependent on what you want to do. Are you trying to get into body building? Do you want to improve sports performance? If so, what sports? Do you need continual strong performance? Or burst power? You need to determine where you want to go and communicate it to us specifically for people to really help. Some exercises and weights are better to develop fast-twitch and slow-twitch muscle fiber, etc.I would also offer the following advice: weight is generally a very poor way to analyze your mass. You can be 180 lbs and an ox, or 200lbs and a weakling--and look very similar! I knew a guy way back in high school that was about 175, and bench pressed 375 lbs, but looked quite slender. I also saw a wrestler who was 140lbs turn that same strong guy into a pretzel when they were horsing around, lol.Let us know what you're looking for!
There's a really great FREE site you can check out. It's a weight loss site but the way that you enter in info on your goals, I'm sure you could modify it to gain weight. They have work out and nutritional plans with great info on just about everything to do with your body. Remember, it's geared toward weight loss, but the healthy info works no matter what. You don't want to gain fat but muscle and I'm sure the info would benefit you. If you decide to join, please tell them I referred you. my name there is Honeybea.
Thanks!
