Ok,assuming you are in good health overall,Eat fresh fruits and vegetables,Drink at least a gallon of cold water a day,and a glass before each meal.Increase your meals to 6 a day but decrease your portion size. This will help your body increase your metabolism naturally, plus your body has to heat water to body temp. so this will also burn calories.Any exercise works, but since you want to join the forces try doing their basics like jumping jacks, situps, pushups, pullups running etc. Weight training will help also, just try to focus on technique and not too much weight. The average weight loss a week is between 1 to 1.5 pounds a week so be patient and stick to it.If your calorie intake is @ 1200 to 1500 a day,you will lose the weight.Do not stop eating, this will make you gain more weight when you start eating as your body will store everything consumed to compensate for fasting.Stay away from soda and sugary snacks as your body converts these to fat easier than burning them as calories.Stay away from fast foods and fatty snacks.Good Luck.
There is a very simple diet plan that is the cheapest, most effective, and easiest to stick to ever. It is called the ELMAMORE diet (eat-less-move-around-more).Here's the plan: At each meal, prepare your plate as normal. Then cut each item on your plate in half and put it in a Tupperware dish and in the fridge for the next day. Before you eat, drink a large glass of ice water. DO NOT snack in between meals. For the move around more part, do things like park at the back of the parking lot. Walk up to the 4th floor before you catch the elevator. Make it a point to limit your daily computer/TV time. This will force you to stay upright and burn more calories each and every day.As far as the Air Force goes, you will do yourself a huge favor by being physically fit before you enlist. You need to concentrate on push ups, sit ups, and jogging. Congratulations on your decision, and good luck!
