I want a way to lose weight very fast. I have an event coming up and need to lose the pounds quickly.?

BMR means Basal Metabolic Rate.It is used to estimate how many calories you should consume.By using a simple formula called the Harris-Benedict principle, you can assess your BMR.
Your BMR is the amount of energy your body needs to function.Then, to lose weight, you'll need to cut calories or burn extra calories and shoot for a level lower than the results you get with this formula.
We use about 60 percent of the calories we consume each day for basic bodily functions such as breathing.Other factors that influence your BMR are height, weight, age and sex.
Step One : Calculate your BMR with the following formula:
鈥omen: BMR = 655 + (4.35 x weight in pounds) + (4.7 x height in inches) - (4.7 x age in years)
鈥en: BMR = 66 + (6.23 x weight in pounds) + (12.7 x height in inches) - (6.8 x age in years)
Step two : In order to incorporate activity into your daily caloric needs, do the following calculation:
鈥f you are sedentary : BMR x 1.2
鈥f you are lightly active: BMR x 1.375
鈥f you are moderately active (You exercise most days a week.): BMR x 1.55
鈥f you are very active (You exercise daily.): BMR x 1.725
鈥f you are extra active (You do hard labor or are in athletic training.): BMR x 1.9
Create a Calorie Deficit:
In order to lose weight, you must create a calorie deficit. It is easier and healthier to cut back your calorie intake a little bit at a time.
Every 3,500 calories is equivalent to 1 pound.
If you cut back 500 calories a day, you will lose 1 pound per week.
If you exercise to burn off 500 calories a day you will also lose 1 pound per week.
Ideally, you should do a combination of both, (e.g. cut back 250 calories; burn an extra 250 calories).

If you want to lose acouple extra pounds I would suggest a sauna. It loses the water weight in your body and you end up losing a 2-4 lbs in just one sitting. But be careful, the more water you drink afterwords will just gain that weight right back.Also laying off the bad snacks and eating low carb meals, will help you along the way.It also depends on how much your calorie intake should be, like if your 17, and you should be taking in 3200 cals. try and eat only 2800 or 2500 calories.Every 3500 cal. you take in is equivlent to 1 pound. So you do the math. Don't overstress yourself though.
It would be nice to elaborate first on the type of event that would be so important to warrant a quick weight loss as you put it. Secondly, it would be helpful to state how much weight we are taiking about here. Frankly, is there anything so important that you have to lose weight "quickly"? You never said how mch weight.Try Hydroxycut,you can find it at Walgreens or similar drug stores.Or,The hoolywood clelbrity diet.You can lose up to 10 pounds in 48 hours but you know this is just a temp fix.Do not try to stop eating.When you do your body goes into shock.It will store anything you eat after that,no matter how little fat you inake.Fresh fruits and vegetables,exercise and eat small portions @ 6 times a day.This will train your body to step up your metabolism and burn calories more.Also,Drink at least a gallon of cold water a day,and 1 glass before each meal.This causes the body to heat the cold wate to body temp. and doing so burns calories also.A full glass of water will also help keep you from eating less.This works.Any exercise should be at least 20 minutes.Dont be afraid to sweat,because this also helps in burning calories.Aerobics work well,but simple basics work too,such as simple jumping jacks.Keep your fat intake low,your calorie intake to 1200 a day,and stay away from soda and sugary snacks and foods.These will be converted to fat and stored by the body because sugar is more easily converted to fat than burned as energy.Good Luck.
If you want to loose weight fast don't eat at all anything with sugar and carbohydrates like rice, bread ( may be wheat), try to replace them for fruits salads in Publix and try vegetable salads with fat free dressing in Mc Donld's (grill cx salad or the bacon salad) to make your diet not too complicated you can eat hamberger with no bread ( not hot dog) is too much calories, drink in the moorning Dannon Light n Fit Smoothie yogourt or Home Squeezed Orange Juice (change) at any supermarket. But if you are hungry by the night eat an apple or 2, but eat small portions in 3 or 4 times a day.It seems too complicated but try it, it works I have 1 1/2 weeks in this diet it's good. Oh but don't forget some easy exercises like laid in bed and put your feets together and move it up and down 20 moorning 20 by the night good luck!
take a look at this diet and see if it suits you, it's a very quick diet. My cousin lost 20 lbs in month on it, you could lose a lot more if you had more fat than she does, she was just slightly overweight.
