I'm 13, 5'6 and 125 ponds. I'd like to loose weight on my but, thighs, and tummy. Maybe get down to 110? maybe even 100 or 105? I really want a six pack and a really firm but and thighs. Ideas?

I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me. Also start counting your calories. Write them down. You would be amazed as to how much more aware you are of your caloric intake, if you actually write it down. We recently discovered a site that offers a great program that counts calories, as well as keeps track of everything. It allows multiple users, so everyone in the family can keep track. They offer a free 7 day trial, and so far I am very impressed with the product. Try the 7 days and see. It allows you to add the exercise that you do during the day, which increases the amount of calories you can take in. Very Cool!!

Rachel-Don't try to look like a model! They air brush and cover all flaws on them! Just leave off the junk food and take a brisk walk every day! Do a few sit ups every day - don't overdo at first!

first of all, at 13, you cannot get a "six pack". You have not even gone through full puberty yet. Secondly, you do not need to lose weight at 5'6" and 125. If you want to firm everything up, then get up, get out and get going. Exercise will cure what ales you. Start out small if you don't work out now (20 minute walks) and work up. I am a huge fan of yoga and pilates DVDs you can do at home. They will really slim you down. You can also buy 5 or 10 pound weights and use them at home. You will absolutely notice a difference in less than 3 weeks. Don't be pressured to be 105 - At 19 I was 5'6" and 105 and looked like a skeleton. Sure, I was thin, but I couldn't even get up a flight of stairs without being winded. I was freezing cold all the time and always felt like I needed a nap. Go for fit. I weigh 129 now and feel fantastic because I can run, ride a bike, fly up the stairs - Go for it. You have the rest of your life to be fit and fabulous. Good luck!
