I'm 130 pounds I'm 5'3 and I need to get rid of 20 to 25 pounds to match my boyfriend who is a body builder I also want to gain and build muscle at the same time. In high school I was 110 and I looked amazing now all my muscle has turned to fat. I have planned on running to the tanning salon everyday which is about 6 blocks there and 6 blocks back and I plan on eating healthy but how do i gain muscle in my arms and legs.. I also have lots of cellulite(however you spell it) on the back of my legs up towards my butt region... I would also like to know how to get a six pack with out hurting my back... We dont have a very good/nice gym here so if your tips could please be things i could do at home I have 10pound weights and a ab lounge please someone help summer is coming?!?!?!?

First of all, I really hope you're doing this for yourself, and not your boyfriend. If you are trying to lose weight to please your BF, then you shouldn't be trying. However, if that's not the case, please remember that muscle weighs more than fat, and is leaner than fat. So, even though you might weigh 120lbs, you could fit into your jeans when you were 110. For your height, 115lbs would be perfect for you. With that being said, try to focus more on what your body looks like (toned)rather than what the scale says.Alright, enough about that chat. Running is a great way to lose weight and tone your legs, so you're definitely on the right track. As you get better, you'll be able to run faster and farther, which will be a huge benefit. If you want even toner legs, do squats and lunges at home. Try to do 3 sets of 10, and gradually increase to 3 sets of 15. Once you've achieved that, go back to 3 sets of 10, but this time do it with your weights. As for your arms, pushups are great to work the shoulders and chest area. You can do bicep curls and shoulder presses with your weights as well. Again, try 3 sets of 10 and work your way up. With your abs, I would just do the ab lounge. Since you're running already, the running will definitely do some nice work on your abs.OK, let's talk about eating! Eating is HUGE when it comes to losing weight! You have to eat the right things and enough of them to obtain your energy to workout, and at the same time lose weight. One pound is equal to 3500 calories, so to lose one pound you need to decrease your caloric intake by 3500, or increase your workout to burn 3500 calories. Now, obviously you can't do that in one day. One week is more realistic. However, you can lose twice as much weight by decreasing your caloric intake by 3500 calories and burning 3500 calories in one week. If you do those two things together, you should lose 2 pounds a week. This is achievable by decreasing your calories every day by 500, and increasing your workout to burn 500 calories everyday. Confused yet? I hope not.. LOL. When you eat, make sure you eat lots of fibre filled foods, such as apples, whole grain bread, bran muffins, lots of veggies, etc. Try to stay away from white bread products and sugar. I call it "The No Crap Diet". If you think it's bad for you, it probably is. So yeah, I hope all this helps you. Good luck!
The best way to lose weight, is to eat 6 small meals a day of high protien meals. Make sure you cut all sodas out of your diet and drink 8 glasses a water a day. When your body is craving something or is hungry, substitute with a ice cold glass of water. Follow the zone diet. its great. go to www.zonediet.com. And remember, cardio and strenghth training are the best way to build muscle, though you may not drop 20 pounds, you will be turning tha fat into muscle which weighs more so dont worry. And dont just do something to please your boyfriend either.
I recommend you take Green Tea pills and replace a meal with boil broccoli. Just boil broccoli and green tea pills will make your stomach shrink with you having to starve yourself. I lost 10 pounds in two weeks just doing that and working out 30 minutes everyday.
