Create a Calorie Deficit:
In order to lose weight, you must create a calorie deficit. It is easier and healthier to cut back your calorie intake a little bit at a time.
Every 3,500 calories is equivalent to 1 pound.
If you cut back 500 calories a day, you will lose 1 pound per week.
If you exercise to burn off 500 calories a day you will also lose 1 pound per week.
Ideally, you should do a combination of both, (e.g. cut back 250 calories; burn an extra 250 calories).

Find access to the 24 hr flu...pretty much does the job...not much fun...Hey, it's that or get your boodie on the tread mill, eat nuthin', and drink nuthin' but water!
There is probably a healthy way around it and I don't know if advocating an unheatlhy way is best. What I suggest is lots of excercise and cutting down on the unhealthy calories (sugar, fried foods, etc.). Usually food rich in carbs is also rich in calories so avoid those as well. This always works for me but cutting calories isn't healthy to continue over a long period of time. Good luck!

Drink lots of water. sweat alot. This will make you lose atleast your water weight. Which is about3-5 lbs. If you have access to a sauna use that alot. Like twice a day for 5 days. If not. wow you're in a hurry. i'd try to special k diet, a bowl of it for breakfast, a smaller bowl for supper, and then a small dinner. don't go more than a couple hours without a snack like an apple to keep your metabolism going and to keep you from getting cravings later in the day. and drink lots of water!

Not only will I start feeling and looking attractive again (I'm a single mum with 3 kids and am in my early 30s) but also regain my self-esteem and improve my health conditions (I am diabetic)We have all seen too many weight loss programs featuring people with fantastic claims on how they lost 10 pounds in 3 days or before and after pictures of people who have used the program. It really isn't good to lose more then 3 pounds a week, but if you really wanna try to drop weight quick, keep yourself hydrated, watch your food intake and cardio, cardio, cardio. Stay away from all junk and fast food, eat lean meats and whole grains, fruits and veggies but watch your carbs, drink only water. Get plenty of rest too, 7-8 hours of sleep a night. Be careful, don't get too wreckless and good luck.

sure! cut off your arm at the elbow. that should be about 5 pounds!now all kidding aside... i'm a bit skeptical of anyone who "needs" to lose 5 pounds in 5 days. you NEED to eat. you NEED to pee. you NEED oxygen. you don't need to lose 5 pounds unless you're stuck in a cave with a very narrow opening and you can't squeeze through.to drop a few pounds, cut out all juices and other sugary drinks like soda and iced tea and focus on water for the remainder of the time you have left. eat at least 5 fruits and vegetables a day - they are low in calories, high in vitamins and antioxidants, and will keep you full when you're tempted to crave those sweet or salty foods. stick with lighter fare. baked chicken breast and steamed veggies instead of meatloaf and potatoes... yogurt with fruit instead of a sausage and egg sandwich. etc etc. go light on the salt. too much salt will bloat you out with water and cause you to feel heavier.go out for a run, work up a sweat, and push yourself half a mile beyond the point you'd usually stop. stay hydrated though! you may not lose 5 pounds (nutritionally, that's too much to lose in 5 days if we're only counting REAL weight loss and not water weight only) but you will be more likely to drop a few pounds and feel better about your body in the meantime.good luck and please... keep a realistic perspective. such extreme lines of thinking never did anyone any good!
