I have issues with tendonitis so I have to be careful with what I do. I really need to find some way to get in shape and get healthy.
Answer:
biking or swimming
Try swimming. When in water, your body weight is supported and will not put such a strain on your muscles. Swimming is a good cardiovascular (i.e. for your heart) exercise that burns lots of calories but puts little strain on your muscles, tendons and nerves.
I lost a good amount of weight through biking and keeping it off through it as well.
